Rebecca Cooper’s lifetime mission is to create resources and awareness of disordered eating. Her mother died of morbid obesity and Rebecca has 20+ years of recovery from disordered eating and eating disorders herself. She is a California licensed therapist and the Founder of Rebecca’s House, the first transitional living residence for women recovering from eating disorders.
Since that time Rebecca’s House Eating Disorder Treatment Programs™ located in Orange County, California now provides all levels of care for the medically stable person suffering from binge eating disorder, bulimia, anorexia, compulsive overeating and food addictions. Ms. Cooper established a leading eating disorder expert team of psychologists, therapists, registered dietitians, exercise physiologist, psychiatrist, nurse practitioners, and a medical doctor to transform the lives of patients suffering from eating disorders.

She is the author of many published articles and she is the eating disorder expert for various websites and blogs.

She was the 1st President of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals in Orange County, CA. She is currently an IAEDP approved Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Supervisor (CEDS-S). Ms. Cooper received her Master in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.
